Our 2026 Fall Parade of Homes Model
The Partridge Road Model Home was our entry in the 2026 Fall Parade of Homes, and it was so fun to open the doors and watch people walk through it. This is a true lake home in Stillwater. We planned the main living spaces, the primary suite and the lower level around the views, so the water and the trees are part of every day in this house.
The great room is the heart of the home. The vaulted ceiling, timber beams and tall triangle windows pull your eye straight out to the lake, and the stacked stone fireplace keeps the space warm and grounded. The kitchen sits right beside it, so whoever is cooking is still part of the conversation. We wrapped the range in stone to match the fireplace, added a marble backsplash behind it, and gave the island plenty of seats for family and friends.
Everyday living got just as much attention. The dining area sits between the kitchen and the great room with big windows on the lake side, and a built-in office nook with patterned wallpaper gives you a quiet spot to get work done. The primary suite has its own view of the water, and the bathroom has a freestanding tub, a double vanity and a separate makeup vanity.
The mudroom has a locker for everyone, so boots and backpacks always have a home. Downstairs, the walkout lower level is made for hosting, with a family room, a wet bar and lounge, and a golf simulator room for the long Minnesota winters. Outside, the dark exterior with stone and warm wood accents feels right at home in the trees, and the deck looks out over the lake.
